United Way Welcomes New Talent to its Board of Directors
HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 4, 2019) — United Way of Washington County is pleased and excited to announce the growth of our Board of Directors with the addition of five new members. We are excited to grow as well as represent Washington County's wide range of demographics. We look for individuals with extremely diverse backgrounds and experiences. "We want people who represent a broad scope of the community with a sense of service. From time to time, we believe certain skill sets and community sectors are under represented on our board." - Guinn Rogers, CEO UWWC.

New Members are:
Ellen Prete, Vice President of Communications & External Relations - Citi Bank,
Mike Harsh, Professor, Drama, Speech, English, Humanities and Leadership Development, Hagerstown Community College,
Tereance Moore, Owner, Tereance Moore Consulting, LLC,
Kyle Huntzberry, Commercial Banking Officer, BB&T, and
Julie Pippel, Private Environmental Consultant.
Each member brings fresh ideas and a new perspective to the round table of the Board of Directors. Together with the rest of our team, we continue to live our mission of uniting people, ideas and resources to improve the lives of people in Washington County.” Each of our new members possess varying backgrounds & job skills however, all hold a similar interest to initiate change & growth in a positive direction. All members of the board understand the mission of United Way and the need for focus and improvement in the areas of health, education, financial stability and basic needs here in Washington County. We are honored to welcome our new board members to the table and are looking forward not only to what this year will bring, but what the future holds for United Way and Washington County, Maryland.
